Becoming the Body of Christ: an experiential therapy workshop

This will be a unique experiential therapy group where we will explore our divinely appointed role in the Kingdom of God and the ways in which the enemy has attempted to steal, kill and destroy your confidence in your call. Through a series of playfully deep activities we will explore, alongside the Holy Spirit, that which has been held back or hidden by our felt experiences of brokenness in this world. We will explore with compassion and curiosity who God says we are. If you have wrestled or are wrestling with centering in on all you are called to be, then this may be the workshop for you!

This will be an in person workshop held in Oklahoma City, OK. We will meet Friday August 8th at 6:00pm for a meal together and then a brief introduction to our work, we will conclude the evening at 9:00pm. You may return home, if a local resident, stay in the airbnb onsite(for a small additional fee) or make your own accommodations if traveling from out of town. We will resume Saturday August 9th at 9am, break for lunch(11:30-1pm) and continue until 5:00pm where we will conclude our time. Those from out of town are welcome to stay onsite Saturday night as well.

The Cost of this workshop is $295 (an additional $40 per night stay at airbnb) There are 4 spots available for onsite lodging. Endure(HupoMone) Retreat

Why this retreat?

To remain under a heavy load instead of trying to escape is truly a gift in character and faith; and yet so many of us resent or avoid such circumstances with little effect. Let’s explore together the nature of choosing to remain under the weight with the One who shelters us from its full impact. Let’s explore our stories and find His faithfulness in ways we may have never understood before. May our hearts awaken to something new of Gods perfect love and sovereignty over our stories. Join me in the beautifully still an breathtaking Joshua tree desert. We will rise and take in the sunrises, we will hike, move our bodies, meditate on Gods word, swim, eat nourishing food, create space for God to move, enter into healing communion with one another and the Holy Spirit, settle by the sunsets and light fires under the stars. We will share sacred space of life, love and healing with our sisters in Christ.

Whose Coming?

This is a women’s only retreat and will consist of 10 guests and 2 leaders. This retreat is a shared space retreat, meaning you will share a bed or a room with other guests. This is a Christ led model but no matter where you find yourself, all are welcome.

Where is this Retreat?

This retreat is located in Joshua Tree, CA just minutes outside of the national monument. The retreat space sits up high over the desert landscape with beautiful views all around. This house is one of a kind, full of luxury and beautiful openness. You will want to fly into Palm Springs Airport(PSP, 35 minute drive from retreat location) or Ontario International Airport (ONT, 1.5 hour drive from retreat location) We will offer a set time shuttle if you need, but you are also welcome to make your own accommodations for transport to retreat. Shuttle will leave Ontario at 3pm and will leave Palm Springs at 4pm on Thursday October 2nd. Make sure to book flights accordingly if you are wanting to utilize the shuttle. If you are arranging your own travel, make sure your flights are set to get in with enough time to arrive at retreat location between 5-7pm on October 2nd. The retreat will end at 11am Sunday October 5th, so schedule your flights accordingly from the airport you’ve chosen.

What is the Cost?

This is a four(4) day, three(3) night retreat. Since this is a shared space retreat, you will share either a King or Queen bed with one other guest.

There are ten(10) spaces at $1770 for shared beds this includes:

  • All lodging; shared bed

  • Meals, snacks and beverages (there will be one night where we head out for dinner as a group, this cost is not included)

  • Christ-centered yoga/fitness classes

  • Meditation/journaling sessions

  • Healing sessions, experiential therapy

  • Goodie bags

  • Hiking, hot tub, breathtaking views for miles, Joshua Tree National Park, mineral pools, starry night skies, priceless memories, and most importantly quiet space to encounter God and heal.

  • One shuttle offering both ways to/from retreat.
    ***Not included:
    1. Airfare to and from whichever airport you’ve chosen.
    2. If you are bypassing provided shuttle, your personal transportation to and from retreat house is your own responsibility.

How do I sign up?

In order to secure your spot, you can either pay in full $1770 or pay a $550 non-refundable deposit at the time of registration to secure your spot; the remaining balance will be due four weeks prior to retreat start. For this retreat the final payment will be due by September 4th, 2025.

This will not be anything like traditional talk therapy, so you don’t have to worry about sharing your story in front of everyone. This is far more playful and meant to bypass your pre-frontal cortex to allow you to truly access your deepest struggles and be able to receive new information in order to heal; transforming your mind in order to recognize and respond differently in the future. So basically it’s group therapy with a twist and cheaper than one on one counseling sessions.

This course will take place:

Friday October 6th 6:30-9pm (2.5 hour long) experiential therapy session, and Saturday October 7th 9am-5pm (6.5 hours, 1.5 hour lunch break) thats 9 hours of therapy, done within a private group of no more than 10-12 participants.

This course will include:

A formal sit down dinner to kick off the workshop.

Activities and practice regulating your central nervous system.

An experience that will invite the transformational power of Christ to reimagine your story for healing.

Creating and Experiencing Gospel community.

Held Together: an experiential therapy and movement workshop

It is so important for us to know both the Sovereignty of God, as well as the co-laboring of others in the midst of our pain, grief and struggles. This workshop is about practicing this. We will begin to remember who God is and how sovereign He truly is over our entire story; the good, the bad and even the ugly parts. We will also learn how to hold space for the hard stuff, and care well for one another as we hold whatever is weighing us down together. I do believe alongside one another, resting beneath the sovereignty of God is precisely where we find peace and rest from all that ails us. So if you are in a hard season yourself, or if you are close to someone in a hard season, this is your space to come and be refreshed, strengthened and equipped. Life is Good. Life is Hard. We do not have to carry that truth by ourselves. So excited to bring this to the Tulsa-ish area.

I’m leading an emotional intelligence workshop in April in Edmond, OK!!!!

Emotion = embodied information that we are

meant to metabolize.

We have to learn to practice feeling our emotions (as best as our bodies will allow) so that they get metabolized instead of stuck!

Listen, emotional intelligence is highly underdeveloped in our culture. Yet it's never too late to start the practice of paying attention to our emotions and approaching them as information to be curious and compassionate towards.

Please know God designed us, and our emotions aren't the enemy of that design but instead a grace of that design. During this workshop we will:

~we will lean in and ask God and one another to help us navigate the sometimes big or uncomfortable emotions.

~we will tangibly explore and practice developing our own emotional intelligence and resilience by God’s design.

~we will learn more about how God made us and how to tend to our emotions in a healing way.

If you need help learning how to do this, then this is a great place to begin!

There will be an optional Holy Yoga flow from 12-1pm. You will have the option when you register to either do both the workshop and the yoga or just the workshop or the yoga.
