Experiential Therapy Group

So often, we try to figure out healing by thinking harder… or praying for answers we expect to come in a certain way. But what I’ve learned, both personally and in this work, is that God often speaks through subtler things.

Through movement.

Through creativity.

Through the quiet stirrings that happen when we stop trying to understand and instead start to listen.

In this workshop, we’ll slow down together and create space to do just that.

We’ll use experiential methods, like objects, images, and story, to move what’s inside of us outward, where we can see it, touch it, and begin to notice how God is moving within it.

Because He really is far more playful and creative than we often imagine. And when we engage our healing in a creative, embodied way, we start to sense His influence in places we might’ve missed before.

If you’ve been longing to connect with God in a deeper way, or if you feel like you’ve hit a wall in your healing process, this space is for you.

It’s gentle. It’s sacred. It’s creative. And my prayer is that you leave with a deeper awareness of the ways God has been whispering to you all along.

This course will take place:

Friday November 14th 6:30-9pm (2.5 hour long) experiential therapy session, and Saturday November 15th 9am-5pm (6.5 hours, 1.5 hour lunch break) thats 9 hours of therapy, done within a private group of no more than 10-12 participants.

This course will include:

A formal sit down dinner to kick off the workshop.

Activities and practice regulating your central nervous system.

An experience that will invite the transformational power of Christ to reimagine your story for healing.

Creating and Experiencing Gospel community.

*The course will cost $295 per participant. You may pay that in full or put down a $85 deposit to reserve your spot; the remainder will be due the day the workshop begins. If you need a payment plan that is different than this please reach out.

*If you are traveling and would like to have accommodations in the Airbnb there will be a $50 fee for first night and a $50 fee for the additional night. The Airbnb will be available for your use both Friday and Saturday night.

Becoming the Body of Christ: an experiential therapy workshop

This will be a unique experiential therapy group where we will explore our divinely appointed role in the Kingdom of God and the ways in which the enemy has attempted to steal, kill and destroy your confidence in your call. Through a series of playfully deep activities we will explore, alongside the Holy Spirit, that which has been held back or hidden by our felt experiences of brokenness in this world. We will explore with compassion and curiosity who God says we are. If you have wrestled or are wrestling with centering in on all you are called to be, then this may be the workshop for you!

This will be an in person workshop held in Oklahoma City, OK. We will meet Friday August 8th at 6:00pm for a meal together and then a brief introduction to our work, we will conclude the evening at 9:00pm. You may return home, if a local resident, stay in the airbnb onsite(for a small additional fee) or make your own accommodations if traveling from out of town. We will resume Saturday August 9th at 9am, break for lunch(11:30-1pm) and continue until 5:00pm where we will conclude our time. Those from out of town are welcome to stay onsite Saturday night as well.

The Cost of this workshop is $295 (an additional $40 per night stay at airbnb) There are 4 spots available for onsite lodging. This group is meant to be an exploratory opportunity to look behind the veil of the pain, shame and trauma, which is in all our lives, in order to receive the healing God longs to offer each and everyone of us! This will not be anything like traditional talk therapy, so you don’t have to worry about sharing your story in front of everyone. This is far more playful and meant to bypass your pre-frontal cortex to allow you to truly access your deepest struggles and be able to receive new information in order to heal; transforming your mind in order to recognize and respond differently in the future. So basically it’s group therapy with a twist and cheaper than one on one counseling sessions.

Friday October 6th 6:30-9pm (2.5 hour long) experiential therapy session, and Saturday October 7th 9am-5pm (6.5 hours, 1.5 hour lunch break) thats 9 hours of therapy, done within a private group of no more than 10-12 participants.

An experience that will invite the transformational power of Christ to reimagine your story for healing

*The workshop will cost $310 per participant.

*This is a women’s only group.

*This is for locals or those able to travel to be present for all of the group sessions. If traveling you will be individually responsible for lodging and travel expenses, however I will gladly help with recommendations etc.

*Must be at least 18yrs of age or have expressed permission from me and parents if a minor.

We will meet Friday evening for a lovely dinner, ice breakers and q&a, then reconvene Saturday from 9am-3pm (lunch break built in) and once again on Sunday from 9am-3pm (lunch break built in).
